How to find the cheapest Netcup offer
Netcup* is a hosting provider from Germany, known above all for its inexpensive virtual servers and web hosting products. Netcup* has a very broad product range, and individual products often come in several different tariffs on top of that. Finally, special products and tariffs keep appearing as part of promotional offers. This article explains how to find the cheapest offer for you among all those possibilities.
Current regular products
The first place to look is of course the Netcup website*. Depending on which product you are interested in, the following pages give you an overview of the tariffs and prices of the products currently being advertised:

Vouchers
Netcup offers two kinds of vouchers: product vouchers and value vouchers. All voucher codes can be found at hostinggutscheine.de. In general, keep the following points in mind:
- You can only redeem one voucher per order.
- You can only redeem one voucher per minute on the Netcup website*. So if you redeem a voucher, remove it again and then want to redeem another one shortly afterwards, you may have to wait a moment.
Value vouchers
There is currently a €6 value voucher for new customers. Here you can get a working code.
Product vouchers
When you redeem a product voucher, a correspondingly discounted tariff is placed in your shopping cart. That is not possible without a matching code. If you had already put the non-discounted tariff of the product in your cart beforehand, you can simply remove that one.

The important thing about product vouchers is that here too you should look closely. Under certain circumstances a discounted tariff can leave you worse off than a regular one. Here is one example:
There is a voucher code for the 12th generation Root Server 1000. It saves you the base fee of €12.89 per month for the first two months. The discounted tariff is called RS 1000 G12 2M Rabatt*, incidentally.
The standard tariff, that is the starting point for this discounted tariff, is RS 1000 G12 12M*. You can of course also put the standard tariff in your cart without a voucher code. With that tariff you pay €12.89 from the first month onwards.

Special offers
Netcup regularly publishes promotional offers on a page of its own (Netcup Deals*). These offers are usually only available for a short time — anywhere from a few hours to a few days. If you are currently looking for a virtual server, for example, it is worth checking that page for a suitable offer.
Special sales
There are currently several events per year at which Netcup runs promotional offers. All of these events are announced and advertised on the Netcup news page*.
Easter egg hunt
As the name suggests, this event always takes place at Easter. Around Easter Netcup hides promotional offers on its website in the form of Easter eggs. Products no longer actively advertised

Netcup Labs
In the netcup development lab* (netcup Labs for short) Netcup tests new products. Upcoming changes to the production environments are also tested in netcup Labs first. In order to achieve conditions as realistic as possible, Netcup regularly looks for customers willing and able to use products in this test environment.
Products in netcup Labs are usually free or cost only a very small amount, and they run over a longer period or permanently. Among other things, Netcup provides free virtual servers and heavily discounted web hosting products in netcup Labs. In return, Netcup expects the products provided free of charge to be actively used and the customers to give regular feedback.
